It did not take President Obama long to “meddle” in the internal affairs of Honduras. He says Zelaya should be restored to power pronto.
Why would Obama move so quickly on the Honduran crisis when he delayed so long on the crisis in Iran?
Can you think of a good reason?
Honduras is a banana republic and has no nuclear capabilities.
There was a coup in Honduras, Iran had a missed vote count and it was corrected.

I’ve heard two conflicting reports:
1) the overthrow was illegal; and
2) the overthrow was legal and sanctioned by the Supreme Court of Honduras as well as by its congress.
I want to know more about where the truth lies before coming down on one side or the other.
Regardless of where the truth lies, whatever happens in Honduras has little impact on the USA unless of course it is a matter of preventing another latin country going the socialist Chavez’s way. The Honduran president, lately, had shifted to the left and wanted to change the constitution. Reportedly there is a clause in that constitution that stipulates that it can not be changed.
So what came first, the hen, the egg or the Big Bang?
